Informed by two decades in the creative industry and a deep understanding of colour and pattern, Sophie offers occasional creative consultancy to individuals seeking decorative ideas and guidance in styling their homes.

Sophie brings knowledge and flair to creating schemes that suit the story of a space and its inhabitants. She specialises in combining colour and pattern to create a common and cohesive thread throughout an interior. Whether you require one-off advice, or ongoing consultation, Sophie can help to complete your space, adding the character, tactility and warmth that make a home.

This interior styling service can include devising colour palettes, selecting fabrics, advising on curtain and upholstery styles, sourcing vintage pieces and artwork or curating and restoring existing furnishings. Sophie believes in taking cues from the building and surrounding environment to create a home in harmony with its history and context.

Please note that Sophie's creative consultancy covers the planning, sourcing and styling of decorative elements only. While Sophie can also draw upon her contacts for curtain-making and upholstery, you will require your own local decorator to carry out physical paintwork and papering. Other trades may be required such as an electrician to fit lighting or plumber / builder for kitchens and bathrooms. For extensive overhauls and structural alterations it is best to begin your project with a qualified interior designer, architect or project manager. 

Interior styling consultations start at £250 per half day + travel.
After our discussion, you can choose to book further work or recieve a 'Decoration Diary' - a document full of ideas and sources to follow and finish your project.
